Resolution

 

  1. Form of participation is remote/distant. Applications for the participation in the competition are accepted until up to and including March 1, 2025 on the Competition Website.
  2. The results of the competition are posted on the website after April 1, 2025. Registration fee for participation in the competition is 20 dollars for "Solo" nomination and 10 dollars  for each participant in the "Ensemble" nomination. Participation in the second nomination - 50% discount;
  3. Auditions are held in the nominations "Solo" among pupils and students up to 25 years old, teachers and "Piano Ensembles";
  4. To participate in the competition, you must fill in the online application form for the participant;
  5. The application must include a birth certificate or passport page with a photo and a date of birth, a participant's photo (maximum photo size - up to 2 MB), a link to a video posted on YouTube, and a scan or a photo of a payment receipt.
  6.  We draw your attention to the fact that the video should not contain elements of editing and post-processing, it must be of a good quality and the artist's face and hands must be visible. Recordings where you play a digital instrument are not allowed! Filming must be a still frame. Submission of links to videos made in different periods of time is allowed.

 

All submitted video recordings of participants are posted on the competition website in the public domain. By submitting an application, the participant automatically agrees to post his photo and video on the Competition website, as well as to process personal data (full name, date of birth, city, country of residence, educational institution, teacher's full name, contact information) required for the Competition and registration award documents.

Program requirements:

  1. Auditions are held in the nominations "Solo" in each age group and "Piano Ensembles.
  2. Age groups:
    Group 1 Group 2 Group 3 Group 4 Group 5 Group 6 Teachers
    7 - 9 years old 10-12 years old 13-15 years old 16-17 years old 18-19 years old 20-25 years old

    Participants 1 - 3 groups perform any two compositions of different character.

    Participants of the 4th group perform two compositions, one is of the Viennese classics, the other composition is romantic with a total timing of up to 10 minutes.

    Participants of the 5th and 6th groups perform two compositions, one is of the Viennese classics, the other one is romantic with a total timing of up to 15 minutes.

    Teachers perform two compositions, one is of the Viennese classics, the other one is romantic with a total timing of up to 20 minutes.

    Ensembles perform any two compositions of different character, except modern ones.

    It is not allowed to perform two compositions by the same author

  3. Summing up the results in each group and nomination is carried out separately.

    The jury includes concert performers from Russia and abroad, students of Nielsen:

    1. Semyon Denisov (Russia)
    2. Victoria Mushkatkol (USA)
    3. Miguel Angel Scebba, Professor (Brazil)
    4. Yurius Spigins (Latvia)
    5. Vladimir Shaposhnikov (Russia)

    Each member of the jury, as well as organizations, have the right to present their own prizes to the participants of the competition on their behalf.

  4. The competition has the right to own its own seal, website, logo, emblem, as well as advertisements, media interviews, and on the website.
  5. The winners are awarded the titles of Grand Prix, Laureate of I, II, III degrees and the title of Diploma winners (IV and V places). Duplication of places in each group is allowed. Teachers who have prepared the laureates of the Competition receive letters of thanks. Sending by e-mail diplomas and letters of thanks to participants and teachers is carried out to the address indicated in the application, no later than 10 days from the date of publication of the results of the competition on the website.
By submitting an application, the participant of the Competition agrees to the processing of his personal data in accordance with the Federal Law of July 27, 2006 No. 152-ФЗ "On Personal Data", by any means. Personal data means any information relating to a specific person or an individual (subject of personal data) determined on the basis of such information, including his last name, first name, patronymic, age, educational institution, leaders of the competition participant, place of residence, postal and electronic addresses. The Participant of the Competition guarantees the availability of the consent of the parents (legal representatives) required by the legislation for the processing of personal data of the participants of the Competition, which is necessary for the holding of the Competition, and bears all the resulting responsibility.
